The old saying goes the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result. 2010 was a mirage! Birds fans, face it, we have another mediocre QB at best. At 32 years old the Mike Vick that we see is all he will ever be. Need proof:
How hard is it to throw a ball away?
How hard is it to NOT throw a ball across your body and into the middle of the field?
How hard is it to slide or get out of bounds?
How hard is it to protect yourself and the ball?
Michael Vick is incapable of taking us to the promised land of a Super Bowl Champion.
Face the facts birds fan he simply not good enough as a QB. I’m tired of the “Athlete” who can’t play QB, can’t see the big picture and continues to do it his way (the wrong way) over and over again. Sound familiar Donovan? Is Eli an athlete, Nope! Is Peyton or Brady, Nope! The “non-athletes” are everywhere and have in fact have won championships with only two notable exceptions in recent memory Elway and Young and neither at this point is really that recent anymore.
Some will, some won’t, and some can’t, then what? At this stage Vick falls into won’t or can’t category, so now what? Since my conclusion is he can’t or won’t this will be his last year for sure as the birds QB. Look at your future folks – Nick Foles? Today I have no idea nor does anyone outside the NovaCare complex but we will find out soon enough. Nick will get his starting chance at some point with the injury prone Vick behind center for now in 2012. We do know Andy Reid has no issue moving on even if an injury takes his starting QB out. We all remember Kobb’s injury and Vicks promotion. I want to see good decision from my leader, not highlight reel plays of a loser! Be a QB Mike not a highlight. QB’s, real QB’s, simply win!
