Are you ready for some more bad news Eagles fans? Well, here it is! Offensive tackle Jason Peters ruptures his Achilles Tendon for the second time this offseason.
This is horrible news considering that Peters ruptured his tendon before back in the early part March, while working out in his home in Texas.
Peters was using his Roll About wheel chair to maneuver around his house, and the wheel chair had reportedly malfunctioned, and Peters well flat on his face, injuring his tendon again, and will require another surgery to repair it.
Before both these injuries occurred, Peters was without a doubt the best left tackle in the NFL. While most Eagles fans were quite sure he wasn’t going to be able to come back for the 2012 season before this injury, the fact that he blows out his tendon again for the second time this offseason, is just heartbreaking not only to the fans, but more importantly Peters himself and his family.
The question now is will Peters be able to walk again, let alone even be able to think about stepping back on a football field weather its for the Philadelphia Eagles or for another team later on in the future.
